The death of Wm Hopping, aged 22 years, occurred Wednesday at 9:30 o’clock at his home, northwest of Yountsville, the interment occurring at Wesley Cemetery.

William Hopping, son of Geo. R. and Julia Denman Hopping, was born near here Aug. 6, 1875, and died March 23, 1898, aged 22 years, 1 month and 17 days. Willie was prepared and prayed for God to come and bear his spirit home. He leaves a father, mother, one brother, three sisters, and a large circle of friends to mourn his departure. He was converted and had peace with the all-abiding Father before he died. We know where he has gone and we all hope to meet him in the happy beyond. -s
